Learner with Memorizing
I usually have learned English by memorizing. When I was in high school, teachers required me to memorize vocabularies and grammars as much as I can. I used to take test almost everyday. Even sometimes teachers made me memorize and speak the contents of textbook without mistakes. At that time, I was really stressed out , but now I realized that it was helpful. I still remember the words and sentences which I memorize at that time. After entering the university I bought a lot of expensive books and tapes for studying English. However, I almost neglected them. It was just waste of money and time. These days, when I read sentences seemed useful, I still tried to memorize them. I know that way is not the best , but it is for me. When I had interview test in the regular class, even though I was extremely nervous, I could speak calmly. This is because I memorized some sentences. Those things work very well to me.
Yes, I agree that memorizing is best way of learning English. But it is stressful too much for me...
답글삭제Although memorization may not be the best way to learn English, I believe it is stiff very helpful (especially when it comes to vocabulary). Unfortunately, memorizing alone will not improve your ability to hold a conversation. There are other skills you need besides reciting memorized sayings.
