Dream and Mind

      I think a dream reflects my thought and mind especially stressful things to me. This thought is from my own experience. A few days ago, I paid attention to losing weight and one night I dreamed I ate greedily a lot of food. I couldn't stop eating because I could not control my behavior. After eating I felt disgusting even though I was in that dream!. After I was awake I realizd how much I am stressed out because of the diet. Moreover when I was in high school, I sometimes I dreamed about examination. The result of dream was not that good as well. I think dreams are like a mirror reflects what I care about.

Take a Seat Desperately

         

      In Korea , there is a great but crowded publc transportation. Especially during rush hour, it seems like a hell.  Most  people who are in the bus or subway start race to take their seat during that time. The gesture to occupy seat is started as well. We can see two types of people in the subway. The first is those who are taking seats and the other is those who are standing infront of them(happy occupants).If the happy seat occupant act like getting off the subway, standing people start the war of nerves and one of them  stands close as possible as he or she can in front of the seat occupants. This gesture means " I will take that seat after you! and other people also agree it "  This gesture is general thing in korea so many of them don't regard it as a silly thing. If they can not occupy the seat , they would arrive their work with stiffen legs because of tiresome. This powerful gesture offer you comfortable seats in the subway.

         Money and Wisdom

             I want to be a rich.  Money is really important factor in life because I believe I can enjoy the whole life  with money. I can do and get everything that I want such as travel, comfortable house, cloths ,haning out with my friends and even donation. Money is kind of foundation of my enjoyable life. However, more important  question I should consider is how I can deal the money well. I think it is from the wisdom.  With wisdom, I can learn the way of happiness by spending money correctly. Moreover, Wisdom help me to get more good wealth. Some people regard chasing of money as a shameful behavior. I think they just focus on spending much money. If we deal money with great wisdom, chasing money become valuable. 

#11. Superstition

  I am a Superstitious Person.

           I am kind of superstitious person. If I can, I try not to go against it. Arranging shoes in order , not cutting nails in night, not making much noise in night, not shaking legs. Some people regard these as silly things. However, I believe most superstition has a reason although it may be trifling. For example, by stopping shaking my legs, I can be looked well-mannered. If I often care about arranging shoes, my room become clean.  Moreover, it helps me to be careful before doing something. I know that superstition is a just superstition. I don't believe that  following superstitions lead me to the extremely great fortune. But I believe with my really small behavior, I can escape from feeling of leery. I can enjoy the superstitions. That's why I am a superstitious person.

It's Time to Start Over

      It's already half of January. About Fifteen days ago, we celebrated the new year together and made ourselves promise.  Are you fulfilling those promises well?  On the first day in 2011, I made a lot of decisions as well. Reading many books, not being late at step beyond,  exercising regularly, not skipping breakfast , keeping daily journal and so on. Honestly, I am half done and not half done yet.  Worse, I feel I become lazy more and more. I need to remind my plan and should be motivated again. It's right time to think back . Let's be passionate my friends.

             A Person with Supernatural Power

       Last class  I read about sixth sense and those who has a extra- sensory perception. At first, I couldn't believe them. I thought there must be some tricks. I was curious ,however, the artist on the fisrt page of blog and thought again. I wonder if all the people have at least one of supernatural power. If we can find out our power fortunately , we become a person whose power is supernatural . If we can't do that, we are just ordinary people in whole life. Last month, I saw a Korean movie " Psychic". In that movie,  an ordinary  man is struggle to stop the evil psychic. In the end, however, the ordinary man finds out himself that he is a psychic as well. That's why he can fight with the evil psychic. This is my private talk but it suddenly  occurred to me. Why don't we try to find our mysterious power?

Learner with Memorizing

       I usually have learned English by memorizing. When I was in high school, teachers required me to memorize vocabularies and grammars as much as I can. I used to take test almost everyday. Even sometimes teachers made me memorize and speak the contents of textbook without mistakes. At that time, I was really stressed out , but now I realized that it was helpful. I still remember the words and sentences which I memorize at that time. After entering the university I bought a lot of expensive books and tapes for studying English. However, I almost neglected them. It was just waste of money and time.  These days, when I read sentences seemed useful, I still tried to memorize them. I know that way is not the best , but it is for me. When I had interview test in the regular class, even though I was extremely nervous, I could speak calmly. This is because I memorized some sentences. Those things work very well to me.

#6.Japan

Description  of  Japan

    2years ago, I traveled Japan. Although most of Japan is similar to Korea,  I can't forget the feelings when I first stepped on Japan. It was almost yellow.I don't know why I felt like that. I guess it might be at sunset or because of dust. When I took a subway, I tried to look outside through the window. Many grey low houses stood roof to roof. They looked lifeless. It seemed that my subway almost stuck in those houses. I felt like I was riding a bike fast instead of taking subway. Even I thought I can look  inside the houses beside me through the window. The more stations I passed, it was getting dark outside. I just could assumed it was 7~8pm. And then the sight changed totally. There were waves of much lights from the tall buildings. I could guess I arrived at center of the city finally.

(Free Writing) My Last Christmas

A Play named " A Cat On the Rooftop House"

     What did you do in the last christmasday in 2010? I enjoyed a sweet play titled "A Cat On the Rooftop House" in Daehakro. It is already famous for TV drama with the same title. This time, that drama was remade as a play. The story is about love and was told by the cat's narration. A woman who is a poor author and a man who is an poor architect move to the same rooftop house at the same time.It was because of the wrong contract. They insist the ownership of that house each other. As a result, they decide to share the house and  become roomates. Finally they fall in love as you can guess.  This is kind of obvious love story but I really enjoyed it. After seeing the play, it made me feel happy and dreaming. Even my boyfriend looked handsome like an actor!. If you want to feel refresh, this play is good.

#4.Korean Education System.

 Korean Education

     In Korea, most of teachers and parents encourage students to study mathematics  ,English and science hard. They spend much money and time to be good well at those subjects. From elementary school, Korean students begin to learn English and also learn mathematics even much beyond basic part. As a result, Korean students are often get higher scores  compare to students from other countries.
     However, Korean education is tend to focus too much on mathematics, science and English because those subjects are important to enter the high -level university . Even  we are tend to ignore less effective subjects such as art, music, physical lessons.
I think Korean students should be offered opportunity to do other various activities. It can help student develop sense, creative thought , interests and  find out aptitude. 
It helps students be healthy physically and psysically as well.

                                                     My Respectful Person

      

       I respect Kim Yeon-A ,who is a famous korean female figure skater. Even though she is young, she has achieved amazing results in many universal competitions. She won the first prize in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final and finally she won the gold medal in the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games in 2010. Even at that time, she set a new world record.

      Kim Yeon-A is well-known for doing constant practice as well. When I saw her almost perfect  performance, I could guess how much she practiced hard. I think her hard  effort made  her the greatest skater. Always I get some motivation from her.  I believe that doing my best , I can do anything like Yeon-A.  I will cotinue to admire Kim Yeon-A.

Hi~I am Hye Won^ㅡ^  It's really cold day. I am worried that how I can  go to school

everyday during Jan.

I believe, however, my strong mind is more than creepy weather like this.

During winter vacation, I really want to improve English so Step Beyond will be great

opportunity for me.

I love English . That's why I'm here. I love reading as well. After Step Beyond, I am

going to try to read novels in english.
