Description  of  Japan

    2years ago, I traveled Japan. Although most of Japan is similar to Korea,  I can't forget the feelings when I first stepped on Japan. It was almost yellow.I don't know why I felt like that. I guess it might be at sunset or because of dust. When I took a subway, I tried to look outside through the window. Many grey low houses stood roof to roof. They looked lifeless. It seemed that my subway almost stuck in those houses. I felt like I was riding a bike fast instead of taking subway. Even I thought I can look  inside the houses beside me through the window. The more stations I passed, it was getting dark outside. I just could assumed it was 7~8pm. And then the sight changed totally. There were waves of much lights from the tall buildings. I could guess I arrived at center of the city finally.

(Free Writing) My Last Christmas

A Play named " A Cat On the Rooftop House"

     What did you do in the last christmasday in 2010? I enjoyed a sweet play titled "A Cat On the Rooftop House" in Daehakro. It is already famous for TV drama with the same title. This time, that drama was remade as a play. The story is about love and was told by the cat's narration. A woman who is a poor author and a man who is an poor architect move to the same rooftop house at the same time.It was because of the wrong contract. They insist the ownership of that house each other. As a result, they decide to share the house and  become roomates. Finally they fall in love as you can guess.  This is kind of obvious love story but I really enjoyed it. After seeing the play, it made me feel happy and dreaming. Even my boyfriend looked handsome like an actor!. If you want to feel refresh, this play is good.

#4.Korean Education System.

 Korean Education

     In Korea, most of teachers and parents encourage students to study mathematics  ,English and science hard. They spend much money and time to be good well at those subjects. From elementary school, Korean students begin to learn English and also learn mathematics even much beyond basic part. As a result, Korean students are often get higher scores  compare to students from other countries.
     However, Korean education is tend to focus too much on mathematics, science and English because those subjects are important to enter the high -level university . Even  we are tend to ignore less effective subjects such as art, music, physical lessons.
I think Korean students should be offered opportunity to do other various activities. It can help student develop sense, creative thought , interests and  find out aptitude. 
It helps students be healthy physically and psysically as well.

#3 My Admiring Person

                                                     My Respectful Person

      

       I respect Kim Yeon-A ,who is a famous korean female figure skater. Even though she is young, she has achieved amazing results in many universal competitions. She won the first prize in the Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final and finally she won the gold medal in the Vancouver Winter Olympic Games in 2010. Even at that time, she set a new world record.

      Kim Yeon-A is well-known for doing constant practice as well. When I saw her almost perfect  performance, I could guess how much she practiced hard. I think her hard  effort made  her the greatest skater. Always I get some motivation from her.  I believe that doing my best , I can do anything like Yeon-A.  I will cotinue to admire Kim Yeon-A.

Hi~I am Hye Won

Hi~I am Hye Won^ㅡ^  It's really cold day. I am worried that how I can  go to school

everyday during Jan.

I believe, however, my strong mind is more than creepy weather like this.

During winter vacation, I really want to improve English so Step Beyond will be great

opportunity for me.

I love English . That's why I'm here. I love reading as well. After Step Beyond, I am

going to try to read novels in english.
